cultural section of the Embassy is active in several areas such as
education, research, information and tourism. Below you find outlines of
the various activities.
Education
The cultural section is responsible for academic contacts
in general and those concerning Iranian Studies in particular. For
information on education in Iran click here.
Research
The cultural section aims to promote cooperation between
Iranian research institutes and academic centers and their counterparts
in Sweden by acting as liaison between these centers.
Information
The cultural section is a contact point for Swedish and
Iranian journalists in two countries. It also provides general
information about Iran to the Swedish public upon written request (by
